  1. This is an update from Dashboard 1.5 to 2.0
  2.  
  3. The format of Dashboard has changed quite a bit and the preferences
  4. system is completely different. Please use the supplied installer to
  5. copy over the new files and convert your settings.
  6.  
  7. The installer is perfectly safe, all your previous files and settings
  8. will be backed up and can be restored by running the installer again.

  13. Iconification

  15. You can now reduce the Dashboard window to a small title bar to free up space
  16. on your Workbench, while still retaining access to all the functions.

  20. All button functions are duplicated in a  menu , including the user-defined
  21. buttons, and the menus work while the window is iconified. There are also menu
  22. items to edit preferences and select online help.

  24. Preferences editor

  26. A  GUI editor  for all your account settings, including the ability to switch
  27. easily between AmiTCP and Miami. You can also change the functions of
  28. the two User buttons and the WWW and FTP buttons from here
  29.

  32. Move the mouse over any button or gadget and a short help message is displayed
  33. in the screen title bar. You can turn this off if you really want to, by
  34. pressing the HELP key.

  37. The GUI uses a different system that is both faster and more stable. A
  38. MUI version may well be released shortly.
